TERMS & CONDITIONS

We want your tattoo or piercing experience to be as stress-free as possible. These policies keep everything fair, professional, and safe for both you and our artists.

Age Requirements

  • Tattoos: strictly 18+ only, with valid photo ID. No exceptions. There is no such thing as "parental consent" for tattoos.

  • Piercings: available from 7+ for lobes (with parent/legal guardian present). Most piercings are from 14+ with parent/legal guardian, and 18+ with valid photo ID.

  • A parent or legal guardian must be present for piercings for under-18s and must bring their own valid photo ID. 

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if valid ID is not provided.

DEPOSITS

  • A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure all tattoo appointments.

  • This fee will be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo at the time of your appointment.

  • If you provide at least 24 hours’ notice, your booking fee may be transferred to a new appointment. Please ensure you can attend before confirming your new date.

  • Repeated/multiple reschedules will require a new booking fee, regardless of notice given.

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice or failure to attend will result in your booking fee being forfeited.

  • If Artmageddon is unable to carry out your appointment (e.g. staff illness or technical issue), your booking fee will either be transferred to a new date or refunded.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

  • Cancellations with more than 24 hours’ notice may transfer deposits once only.

  • Multiple reschedules may require a new deposit.

  • Attempting to reschedule at very short notice (for example, the day of your appointment) will be treated as a late cancellation. In this case, your booking fee will be forfeited.

  • No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will result in loss of deposit and will affect your ability to book with us in the future.

HEALTH & SAFETY

  • We will not perform tattoos or piercings on anyone who is:

    • Pregnant or breastfeeding.

    • Under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    • Recently post-surgery, or taking medication that could affect healing (unless cleared by a doctor).

  • Please do not bring large groups of friends or family to your appointment. 

  • Children:

    • Only children aged 7+ who are being pierced may attend.

    • Please do not bring children under 7, our studio is not a safe environment for them.

    • Children who are not being pierced cannot be brought to the studio. There are no facilities for supervision or waiting.

    • Children or anyone under the age of 18 will not be permitted to attend tattoo appointments.

BEHAVIOUR & STUDIO RULES

  • Payments:

    • James accepts cash only for his appointments. Please ensure you bring sufficient cash with you on the day. Card payment facilities are not available for his work.

    • For all other artists and piercing services, both cash and card payments are accepted.

  • Disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

Right to Refuse Service

  • Artmageddon reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion.

  • This includes, but is not limited to: unsafe circumstances, lack of valid ID/consent, disruptive or disrespectful behaviour, or any situation where continuing would not be in the best interests of our staff or other clients.

  • In such cases, deposits/booking fees will be forfeited.

STAYING IN TOUCH

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact details (name, email, phone number) when booking.

  • Appointment reminders are sent automatically by our booking system to the email address and phone number provided.

  • These reminders are one-way only, replies to automated emails or texts are not monitored.

  • To contact us, please use our official channels (website contact form, studio phone, Facebook, or Instagram).

  • If an incorrect email is entered, you will not receive reminders, this is not grounds for refund or transfer of your booking fee.
