BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Everything you need to know to prepare for your tattoo or piercing at Artmageddon.
WHAT TO BRING FOR YOUR TATTOO APPT.
Valid photo ID (passport, driving licence, CitizenCard, etc.). This must match the ID on your consent form.
A sugary drink, and a snack if you are going to be here for a while.
You may bring 1 other person to your appointment, but please be aware our waiting area is for customers waiting for appointments, and unfortunately not for an entourage of people.
AND FOR YOUR PIERCING APPT?
Your parent or legal guardian if you are under 18.
A sugary drink if you know you may feel faint afterwards.
Inspiration pictures are great!
ON THE DAY!
Eat a proper meal before your appointment — do not arrive on an empty stomach.
Stay hydrated, but avoid energy drinks, alcohol, or recreational drugs for 24 hours before.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed or pierced.
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes early to complete consent forms if you have not already done so.
WHAT NOT TO BRING!
Large groups of friends or family (one guest only if essential).
Children, other than those being pierced, or pets.

STUDIO POLICIES
Deposits: Required to book, non-refundable but transferable with 48+ hours’ notice.
Cancellations: Less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows may result in loss of deposit.
Age & ID: Tattoos STRICTLY 18+ only. Piercings from 7+ for lobes, 14+ for most others with parent/guardian, 18+ with valid ID. Parent/guardian must attend piercing appointments with under-18s.
Health & Safety: We may refuse service if intoxicated, unwell, or recently post-surgery/medication.
Our artists and staff reserve the right to refuse service.
Where in Macclesfield are you?
You’ll find us on Church Street, near Macclesfield Town Hall. Our studio has three floors, private tattoo and piercing rooms, and is fully licensed by Cheshire East Council.
